Japan suspended another 1m Moderna vaccine-shots after they were found to be contaminated. In total, 2.6m doses have been affected and two people have died after being injected with spoiled Moderna jabs… 總共有 260萬劑疫苗受到影響,並且有兩人在接種了被污染的莫德納疫苗後死亡… 2️⃣The last American troops left Kabul: so long… The last American troops left Kabul, ending a 20-year presence in Afghanistan. Over 120,000 people were airlifted out, including about 6,000 American civilians, since August 14th. A few hundred Americans remain in the country. General Kenneth McKenzie, who heads US Central Command, said the Taliban had been “pragmatic” and “useful” during the withdrawal, and said that the group would have their “hands full” fighting Islamic State Khorasan Province… (Islamic State Khorasan Province,ISKP)… 3️⃣The EU v. the US: on blocking covid-19 cases 歐盟 vs. 美國:在防堵病例上 The European Union advised member states to re-introduce quarantine and testing requirements for unvaccinated travellers from America in response to the surge of covid-19 cases there. It is a recommendation, not an edict, and countries can set their own terms… 🔱Espresso - Today’s agenda 每日濃縮 - 今日頭條 💻💪👬Hybrid work: the next great experiment 下一個偉大的實驗:混合式工作型態 Employees returning to physical workplaces after their summer break will find that the virtual world is here to stay. For companies it raises questions about whether to hold meetings in-person or virtually (or both), as well as how to integrate physically-absent people. Most people prefer a hybrid approach to work, combining some days at home and some at the office. However, they clash on what this means for meetings. When it comes to larger group gatherings, 61% of people in countries including America, Germany and Japan would prefer to attend virtually, according to research by Zoom, a video-conferencing company…
