Grandpa Bill today explores the saying
Everyone knows a politician will use the mutability of the truth to his advantage. So How does this translate to Gold & Silver?
The Immutability of God is an attribute that "God is unchanging in his character, will, and covenant promises." The Westminster Shorter Catechism says that "[God] is a spirit, whose being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth are infinite, eternal, and unchangeable." Those things do not change.
An immutable type is a type of which its properties can only be set at initialization. Once an object is created, nothing can be changed anymore. An immutable property is simply a read-only property.
Objects whose value can change are said to be mutable; objects whose value is unchangeable once they are created are called immutable.
