for nearly ten years now (2010, when the cpb invested significant and increasing amounts of money in the pacifica foundation) cpb members have complained about allegedly unfair and imbalanced funding that they receive for "public service" programming. then, when the funding schedule was announced, it was immediately announced that the amount of funding for public broadcasting would be decreased. this occurred despite strong promises that the funding would not be decreased.i have this great love for pbs, but pbs is wrong - totally. they allow you to subscribe to the various channels, but i absolutely will not give them another dime to support what they are doing, and, i can tell you that i am not alone in this. funding pbs is like funding the dnc and i have serious concerns about the dnc and nc’s upcoming democratic primary. listen to what is being said. it is pure demagoguery. the meanderings of a clinton supporter who know nothing. i just cannot stand listening to this woman anymore. if they want to talk about this topic, send her to the debate stage with any of the other democrats and let the debates be the arbitrator, not us.why are we listening to a dishonest self-promoter whose self-promotion is so flawed? the main point behind my post concerns the fact that very fine people are all of a sudden acting like they are being victimized when on the contrary they are benefiting from the enormous revenue generated by the advertising dollars invested in the right (foxnews) network.charlie rose is a liar. he is a fraud and a hypocrite. his staff actually said they were too afraid to tell him that there were too many allegations. however they thought the host was entitled to know and that maybe this could be his last day. he said that the host really made the decision. he is so dishonest that he can’t even fess up to his own employees.
