if you are a fan of harry potter, you are in for a treat with the new film 'harry potter and the order of the phoenix.' the film is full of action, mystery and thrills. the film opens with harry attending a meeting at the ministry of magic and escaping from the meeting with ron weasley. the two of them then go to visit the dursley's house with their new house-elf, dobby. while there, they eavesdrop on a meeting between the ministry of magic and the minister of magic and see that the ministry is going to get rid of the muggle-born protection. the ministry of magic and the minister of magic agree to let harry go to hogwarts to see if he can help the wizarding world and to protect harry from voldemort. the first film of the harry potter movie series "harry potter and the philosopher's stone" was released on 21st december 2001, to a great reception, which followed its three sequels "harry potter and the chamber of secrets" (2002), "harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban" (2004) and "harry potter and the goblet of fire" (2005). the events of the film take place after the events of the fourth book "harry potter and the goblet of fire". the film is exciting, funny and touching. it's also a very dark film, where we see some of the darkest moments in the series. however, it's also full of nods to the series' earlier films. fans of the first three films will recognise places like the hogwarts castle, diagon alley and gringotts bank. the only part of the film that doesn't seem to be based on an earlier film is the opening scene, where harry is at the dursley's house. it's very funny.
