this is one of the english language adaptations of the film, the first being the conjuring (2013). this is a remake of the 2013 french film, la conjonction. the original was directed by the polish filmmaker, gareth edwards, and was released in france on august 14, 2013. the film's budget is $10 million, and it was released by new line cinema and warner bros. pictures in the united states on july 3, 2013. it was also released in the united kingdom on july 3, 2013.on the day that the warrens first hear about the haunting of a family in rhode island, ed and lorraine warren discover that demons exist in the world around them. as they become involved in the case, the pair finds themselves up against the most malevolent force they have ever encountered. this sequel to 2013’s blockbuster is directed by patrick lussier (the losers, the crazies) from a screenplay by gary dauberman (the unborn), who also co-wrote the first film. the conjuring 2 stars vera farmiga, patrick wilson, lili taylor, joey king, ron livingston, and johnathan whor, and is currently in theaters.conjuring 2 was probably the most intense horror film i've seen in a while. the film was scary at just about every turn, and it had a few good scares in it. also, it was genuinely funny a few times as well. however, the film wasn't perfect. the film was somewhat slow to start, and the film didn't have a lot of intense scares or creative ideas. also, some of the special effects were not up to par. however, overall, the film was quite good, and the story and characters were pretty much perfect. the sequel to the film was also just as good, and i'm looking forward to seeing the third film in the series.
