Einziger has produced albums for other artists such as Lady Antebellum, New Kids on the Block, and Rebecca Black, and he boasts a pedigree stretching from Jamiroquai to The Black Eyed Peas, where he was a member of The EBM Group. He recalls a pivotal moment while in the studio during the third day of mixing 8. Eight, who had been out of the band for months, unexpectedly walked in and just listened to the music, making several notes to himself. I cant name the artists who influenced me growing up, Einziger says. But in this moment, I felt the whole idea of this record came together. From there, he found an all-time favorite of his from his heroes Big Audio Dynamite. This single still inspires me today. I can feel it calling me. I wasnt sure that I could follow a record like that. But I kept on listening.Over the course of two years, Roanne played with big names like The Shins and Spoon in the US, Imogen Heap in the UK and Europe, and even joined the band in the studio for their stellar debut album Lullabies For Teenage Girls.
