Five years ago, Audi also launched the R8 V10 Plus. At first glance, the new R8 V10 Plus makes no changes to its look, but when you look closer, you notice a R8 V10 Plus in all but name. The exterior is very similar to the current R8, including the renowned four-ring design, the wide fenders, the wide wheel arches and the even slimmer tailgate. The exterior is made of aluminum, magnesium or carbon fiber and takes its visual identity from the Audi e-tron GT via the five-point LED light signature. However, the R8 V10 Plus is the first with a V-10 model in Audis lineup. Its 12-cylinder power plant is the largest output of a road-going model since it has a displacement of 5.2 liters. The 750 hp single-turbocharged V-10 engine delivers its outputs of 540 hp and 750 Nm of torque via a single-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive.The sweeping curves and beautifully sculpted body give the Audi A8 range of visual attributes that distinguish it from any other car: the double beltline, the radiator grille with its subtle Audi logo, the twin kidney grilles, the concave turn signals and the integrated window frames, the side and top air inlets, the sharply contoured line of the rear quarter windows. As a result, the expressive design of the Audi A8 lends itself particularly well to individual treatment: in the Audi exclusive interior design, almost every inch of the cabin—from the seats to the steering wheel—is expressive and tailored to the car itself. This individual character also extends to the exterior: the design is characterized by strong shoulder lines and a double crease in the rear area of the car.
