Other features include a direct audio input for the microphone, a three-button remote control, a headphone jack, a Shift button to allow you to access a volume control on the card, and the option to install PC drivers. By default, the card is powered directly from the USB bus, and we recommend a computer that has at least 2.0 USB ports. There's also a headphone jack on the front of the unit, but we don't recommend plugging in headphones to the bottom of the unit, because audio noise can bleed through from the PC to the card. Be aware, as well, that the card's microphone is not channeled through the Headset jack. It'll work if you're using a phone with a headset jack, but not if you're using a portable MP3 player or a computer with an external microphone. If you're going for the least expensive solution, you'll be happy to know that Audiolab's priciest model costs less than half of the rest of the competition. Just make sure you've got one of the more recent cards in order to get enough sound quality. Also, if you're using Vista, the driver isn't available as of yet; Audiolab gives the date that it'll be released as October 12. This is unfortunate, because Vista compatibility is one of Audiolab's advantages. The Audiolab et200 series are surprisingly cheap, considering how much they offer for such low prices. This is a welcome surprise, because the Audiolab PRO series is much more expensive ($100-300 for the cards), with a lot less features.Software: Total downloads: 6722 Price: Free Limitations: Not available Name: Audiolab et200 driver Version: 2.0.2 Release date: May 18, 2005 Date Added: May 20, 2005 File Size: 18.3Mb Supported OS: Windows Me, 98SE, 2000, XP
