i wonder if donald was involved in the scandal in the first place. i think he wants to be president, so he would have a motive to hurt the competition. fitz and charlie were the only ones who knew about donald and olivia, and that is what made scandal so interesting. if donald did have something to do with the scandal, we will get to see him in action in the show. if the scandal is over, donald will be the first to throw olivia under the bus. i don’t know who he will support, but i can’t imagine him voting for fitz or charlie. i think he would vote for mellie, but it will be interesting to see how he plays the game.i know, scandal is really about race. about class. about immigration. i know that about scandal because ive been thinking about it for most of my life and i was born into a world that celebrates whiteness. i grew up in a culture that viewed ethnic and racial diversity as a threat to its existence. when i began to recognize and understand the ways in which i was participating in systems of oppression, i was forced to face the fact that even though i had a brilliant and successful career, i had built it on the backs of others. for me, scandal is about these truths, about justice, and about the power that comes from being able to acknowledge and change those structures that oppress us. scandal is about justice.season 5 of scandal will return on february 27th on abc. thats when the actual tv drama will resume. season 5 of scandal is scheduled to be 4 more episodes, and a movie. you can catch up on season 5 below.
