I just installed this and I am having issues loading a ROM on my Desire Zip. I have 4.2.1 on it and I have done all the steps from the 1.9.1.zip. I have used a SD card for the installation. I have tried clearing the cache, rebooting, and soft resetting.OneClick firmware manager for flashing ROM and recovery. SuperOneClick is an android application and a firmware manager. The main features are, root, recovery, zip install, flashable zip install.After you've opened the app just hit the root button and your phone will be rooted. My version of SuperOneClick 1.9.1 is currently on 2.2.1 rom, my phone is HTC Hero. When I first installed my HTC Hero, I ran into some issues with installing the OS. I would get a security error that it wasn't a real ROM. I checked the forums and found SuperOneClick 1.9.1 made the process so easy and I'm posting my findings here. After I completed Super One Click process after following the steps, rooted and rebooted my phone (still working from the same version of the rom), I went to the download manager of the rom and downloaded a file named Download-1.0.0.zip. I then ran it and got the following error message: C:\Users\AppData\Local\Temp\Rooted, Rooted Droid\Download-1.0.0.zip: protocol_revision and rev2 are required. I then used the root checker that came with the download and it found an error. When I checked on the download manager, there was only one file there and it was an error. So I got out this Super One Click. After I completed the installation, I went back to the manager and it said "Rooted, Rooted Droid" and it had one file that I selected. I then downloaded that one file and went ahead with the installation. After the installation was completed and I rebooted the phone, I went to the market and it shows the app as Rooted, Rooted Droid, SuperOneClick.
