after you have subscribed to your chosen channels you need to go to the my account section on the dstv website. select your packages and you will be taken to a page where you can login to your account. there is a tab on your account that will show you all the channels that you have subscribed to and you can select which ones you want to watch. it also shows the number of times you have watched that channel and the number of devices you are currently watching that channel on. once you have logged in to your account, you can click on the play channels section to change which channels you want to watch. i also found it a useful feature to have so i could switch on or off channels with my mobile phone. the list of channels you have subscribed to is always the same and you can scroll down to see more channels. i also like to have a look at the video quality of the channels and the menu on the right hand side of the page shows you the channels listed in alphabetical order.click on the free channels link and a list of all the free channels will be shown. just select the channels you want to watch and you will be taken to a page where you can select your streaming device. once you have selected your streaming device, the dstv website will detect which tuners you have. remember to sign in to your account before you start streaming. if you don't have the app on your streaming device, you can download the app from the app store or google play store.it is possible to watch dstv free channels on an android tv box, such as a google chromecast, but you will need a rooted android device and the right software installed. dstv free download - dstv. i suggest you use the dstv channel finder app on your android or ios phone or tablet as it will detect your dstv decoder and give you a list of free channels available to you. it will also give you the list of channels available on your satellite decoder and tell you how many times you have watched it. you can then decide which one you want to watch.
