延續先前使用東方感的繪畫語言，描繪動、植物在不同狀態，藉著他們的形象表現人在生活中的情感狀態。透過走入自我內心幽微之處觀看，作品企圖描繪人在不同階段與陰影之間微妙的互動關係。
本次展覽「當影子成形時」，是我記錄在認識陰影的過程中面對的不同狀態，繪製作品就像造夢，也像各種流傳下來的故事，有著各種樣態與不連貫明白的敘事性，卻特別對應到深度的潛意識中。我嘗試與陰影一起工作，觀著消長並前行。若是在我的作品中看到了什麼、投射了什麼，那肯定順流著觀者所想。我相信理解自己的夢境和那些流傳千百年的不完整故事和傳說是至關重要的，那是引領人找到意義的方式。
A continuation from the previously used Eastern painting language, my artworks depict animals and plants in varied states, using their images to express human emotions in life. By delving into the inner recesses of the self, the works seek to portray the subtleties of human interactions with shadows at different stages.
This exhibition, “When Shadows Take Shape,” sheds light on the various states of my deliberate encounters with shadows. Painting is like weaving dreams or stories that have been passed down: it takes on diverse forms and seemingly incoherent narratives while profoundly echoing the subconscious mind. I strive to work with the shadows, moving forward in step with their ebb and flow. If anything is perceived or projected from my works, it must have flowed from what the viewer thinks. It is crucial, I believe, to understand one’s dreams and the fragmented stories and legends inherited over centuries. That guides us on our journey to find meanings.
