Why Were These ASUS Laptops Blocked?
The initial block on these ASUS notebooks was imposed in October 2023 after users who attempted to upgrade to Windows 11 encountered the dreaded "Blue Screen of Death" (BSOD). This critical system crash prevented affected devices from successfully completing the update, leading Microsoft to pause updates for these models until a permanent solution was found.
Now, with the BIOS update fix in place, ASUS Vivobook X415KA and X515KA users can finally upgrade to Windows 11 24H2 without experiencing system crashes.
