This discourse was first published in the Times and Seasons of August 15, The King Follett Discourse of 7 April , perhaps the most signifi-cant sermon delivered by the Prophet Joseph Smith, was preserved in man-uscript form by Thomas Bullock, William Clayton, Willard Richards, and Wilford Woodruff.1 Thomas Bullock’s account is the longest, and there are indications that it was written down at the very time that Jo.presented in this sermon: The text of that address has become an important doctrinal document in the theology of the Church.
