English Summary:
A long-awaited royal baby, Briar Rose, is cursed by a fairy to prick her finger and die on her 15th birthday. A kind fairy softens the curse so she will only sleep for 100 years. On the day of the curse, the princess pricks her finger and falls into a deep sleep—along with the entire castle. A thick hedge grows around it.
