Ready to talk about how people look—in Chinese? In this episode, Mindy and Joeru guide you through the essential vocabulary and the handy “AA的” structure to give polite, natural descriptions of someone’s build, facial features, and hair length. By the end, you’ll be able to say things like “那個高高的人是我的學生” and ask about your friends’ looks too!

In this episode, we cover:
– Our key sentence: 那個高高的人是我的學生 (“That taller person is my student.”)
– Describing height and build: 高 (tall), 矮 (short), 胖 (chubby), 瘦 (thin), 壯 (muscular)
– The “AA的” structure for mild descriptions: e.g. 高高的、胖胖的、瘦瘦的
– Talking about eyes: 眼睛大大的／小小的
– Glasses: 戴眼鏡 / 沒戴眼鏡
– Hair length: 頭髮長長的／短短的
