How to Get Township Free Coins and Cash

My top tip: Get Township Free Coins and Cash the Easy Way

My Guide to Getting Township Coins & Cash Without Selling My Soul
Hey there, fellow Mayor! 👋
So, you’ve started your Township journey, and everything is sunshine and rainbows. You’ve got a few crops growing, maybe a little bakery, and your town is looking cute. But then... it happens. You hit The Wall.
You need to upgrade your Barn (because obviously, you need more space for axes you never have), or you want to build a new factory, but the game politely (and annoyingly) tells you that you’re short on Coins or Cash.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. You’re staring at that "Buy" button, eyeing those shiny bundles of Township Cash, and wondering if you should just whip out your credit card. Don’t do it! (Okay, unless you really want to, I’m not the boss of you, but hear me out).
I’ve been playing Township since the dawn of time (okay, maybe since 2014, which is basically ancient in mobile game years). I’ve built cities, I’ve deleted them, I’ve cried over wasted crops, and I’ve learned the hard way how to get rich the legit way. No hacks, no cheats, just good old-fashioned strategy and a little bit of patience.
So, grab your virtual coffee, and let’s talk about how to fill those pockets without spending real-world cash.

1. The Golden Rule: The Factory Grind (aka The Cookie Shop is Life) 🍪

If you take only one thing away from this post, let it be this: Your factories are your ATM.
Early on, I made the mistake of only growing wheat and corn. Sure, it’s easy, but it doesn’t pay the bills. You need to be processing everything.
My personal strategy? The Cookie Factory. Hands down, the best return on investment for your crops. Flour + Sugar = Cookies. Cookies sell for a decent chunk of coins, and the ingredients are basic (Wheat and Sugarcane). I used to have a whole spreadsheet (yes, I’m that person) tracking my factory production times, and Cookies consistently came out on top for low-level effort.
Pro Tip: Don’t let your factories sit idle! If I’m going to bed? I load up the factories with long-cooking items (looking at you, Textiles and Furniture). If I’m at work? You bet I’ve got the fast-cooking stuff running. It’s a full-time job, Mayor duties are no joke!

2. The Co-Op Life: Friends Don’t Let Friends Farm Alone 🤝

I used to be a lone wolf. I thought, "I don't need help, I can grow my own wheat!" Then I joined a Co-Op. Oh, sweet summer child, I was so naive.
Township is a team sport. Here’s the deal: You need help with tasks, and your friends need help with tasks.

  • Helping = Good Karma: When you help a neighbor harvest their crops or load their trains, you get XP and sometimes coins. It adds up!

  • The Chat is Gold: My Co-Op chat is basically my second living room. We trade items we’re short on. I remember one time I was desperately trying to complete a plane order, but I needed three rubber sheets. I asked the chat, and within two minutes, three different people sent them over. No real money spent, just community love.

  • The Great Zoo Debate: Okay, controversial opinion: I actually like the Zoo. It’s a great way to get coins if you keep the enclosures stocked. But you need help! If your Co-Op is active, you can request Zoo materials and actually build the thing. If you’re playing solo, good luck—it’s a grind.

3. The Mine: Digging for Gold (Literally) 💎

Okay, let’s talk about the Mine. It’s the most chaotic, adrenaline-pumping part of the game (don't @ me).
When I first started, I hated the Mine. It took too much effort. But then I realized it’s the best way to get T-Cash (the premium currency) without paying.
Here’s how I do it:

  1. Wait for the Event: I never mine unless there’s a "Mine Time" event. Usually, you get extra rewards (like T-Cash) for every 5-10 ore you dig up.

  2. The Pickaxe Strategy: I hoard my picks. I don't just randomly smash rocks. I aim for the "Ore Blocks" (the ones with the little sparkle).

  3. The Underground Rush: When I have a decent stash of picks (like 50+), I go into the Mine and just start swinging. I ignore the gold and silver (mostly) and go for the矿脉 (veins). The goal is to get to the bottom of the level to get the "Level Complete" reward, which is usually a chest full of goodies and T-Cash.

Anecdote Time: Once, I was down to my last 5 T-Cash, and I really wanted to speed up a train. I decided to mine instead. I dug down, found a hidden room, and boom—50 T-Cash reward. I felt like a genius. I immediately bought the train upgrade and did a little dance in my chair.

4. The Market Box: My Little Shop of Horrors (and Deals) 🏪

If you visit my town, you’ll see a market box. I treat this thing like a garage sale.

  • Selling Stuff: I sell my extra factory goods here. If I have 500 bread and I’m maxed out, I sell them for the maximum price. Someone will buy it! People are lazy; they’d rather pay coins than grow the wheat themselves.

  • Buying Stuff: This is controversial, but I buy almost all my raw materials here (except for the ones I grow myself). Why? Because time is money. If I need 10 corn for a factory order and I’m out, I’m not waiting 5 minutes to grow it. I’ll buy it from the market box for a few coins. It’s faster, and it keeps the economy moving.

5. The "Patience" Strategy (The Hard Part) 🕰️

This is the hardest part for me. I am an instant gratification gremlin. I want the shiny building now.
But here’s the secret: The game gives you plenty of T-Cash if you just don’t spend it stupidly.

  • The Daily Chest: Open it. Every single day. It’s free coins, free T-Cash, and free boosters.

  • The Treasure Island (or whatever it’s called this month): I save my special currency (like the golden tickets or whatever event tokens I have) for the big prizes. Usually, the last prize on the track is a fat chunk of T-Cash.

  • Helicopter Orders: I used to ignore these. I was wrong. Do them. Especially the ones that offer T-Cash. If I see a helicopter order offering 12 T-Cash for some plastic and rubber? You bet I’m loading that helicopter up. It’s the easiest money in the game.

Final Thoughts: It’s a Marathon, Not a Sprint

Look, getting rich in Township takes time. I’ve been playing for years, and I still have moments where I’m broke (usually after a big expansion spree).
But that’s the fun of it! There’s a certain satisfaction in looking at your town and knowing, "I built this. I grew the wheat, I mined the ore, and I earned every single brick."
So, put down that credit card, open your factories, and get to work, Mayor! Your citizens are counting on you (and they’re hungry for cookies).

Happy Farming!
