once you have studied the new syllabus, take the music theory abrsm exam. you will receive all the details and a copy of the paper on your personal email when you return the completed exam after four weeks. you can use this paper as a practice exercise, it will help you to revise the pieces better before you take the exam.i have been playing at namm last week and enjoyed the 449 series acoustic pianos. acoustic pianos have made a quantum leap in terms of sound and weighting. the new artisan, brillian, dd-series and other models are certainly the way to go, if you can afford the up-front investment. this book provides access to 21 pieces for the trinity piano grade 1 exam: 12 are printed in this book and nine more are available in the included ebook (2018-2020 repertoire). they have been carefully chosen, graded and edited by a panel of experts, and every piece is accompanied by informative performance notes to help students and teachers get the most out of the repertoire.ive never been good at it and still cant do it. according to the grand master, not many people are. i can make the tremolo finger work, the staccato works as well as the 5/8s, and i know how to use my keyboard, but the dynamics are a problem. they are just too loud on a piano. we are going to have to change the oil, or possibly the pickup heads, to get them softer. sometimes the dynamics are to loud, and i struggle a lot with them. i know how to down or up. in my experience, youre going to need a new action if you have any problems with sustain, it needs to stop asap. like seriously, it sounds like it will never stop. and we know that our staccato doesn’t work. we have a tender spot for dd800 that holds a special place in my heart, i don’t know if you’ve ever played one, but they are extremely addictive.
