由心理學家 Tanya Chartrand 和她的老師 John Bargh 在 1999 年共同發表一篇論文The Chameleon Effect: The Perception-Behavior Link and Social Interaction

在Journal of personality and social psychology人格和社會心理學雜誌。

 

變色龍效應(The Chameleon Effect)是指人們在社會交往中，會無意識地模仿互動對象的動作、表情、姿勢和語調，猶如變色龍適應環境般，使自己的行為與他人一致。
